Below is a report of Munther’s talk from February 2nd. It is a very useful corrective to the Christian Zionist narrative and also to the wider erroneous assumption that modern Israel is in continuity with Biblical Israel. Munther points out that in the Old Testament, Israel is inclusive and intended as a model for the whole world rather than being the territorial possession of an exclusive ethnic group.
