Plans are well under way for the visit by three international members of the Kairos movement. Rifat Kassis from Palestine is the current secretary of Kairos Palestine. Mark Braverman is the Executive Director of Kairos USA and Brian Brown was a consultant in the founding of Kairos UK. They will split their time between Dublin and Belfast. We hope that there will be media interviews, church and public meetings. The public meetings are outlined in the attached fliers:
- Friday 13th September – Theological Workshop 10am – 2pm – Wesley House, Leeson Park, Dublin 6
- Saturday 14th September – Political Workshop 10am – 2pm – The Luther House, Adelaide Road, Dublin
- Monday 16th September – Political Workshop 7pm – St. Mary’s College, Falls Road, Belfast.
The political workshops are of general interest, while the theological workshop will be appreciated by those with some theological background. It will examine some of the claims that under-gird ideological Zionism. Please take note of these workshops and come along and take part in them.
